Wow, what a track! Tight early 80's synth pop production, almost New Romantic (Night Moves, Visage, Journeys To Glory era Spandau Ballet etc).

Awesome female vocals (kinda like Poeme Electronique), stunning eastern melodies, even a sax solo that doesn't get on my tits (and that takes some doing).

I first heard this song a few months ago, after finding a copy quite by chance in a record store. Never heard it growing up in the UK, this must have sank without trace even upon release.

What a shame. At least we can enjoy it now! The 12" mix is good, not overly produced, but stick with the ace 7" mix. Thankfully it's on the b-side of this 12" in great sound quality.

Check it out now!

This record is amazing and the hook stays in our mind long after the record ends. A killer synth style disco tune!

I totally agree with abrokenframe!!
In that year i bought my copy of Depeche Mode's A Broken Frame....
But listening back then to more and more electro disco, Miro Miroe certainly got our attention in 1982..We already discoverd Patrick Cowley's music and myself was aleady influenced by Visage, Gary Numan and ofcourse, The Human League.
But trying to connect disco with electro, Heaven 17..ABC..( don't forget the early Italo records ), my heart was captured when hearing Nights of Arabia in mid 1982 ( Holland )
Our underground dance radio started to broadcast this song and all the kids ( we were 16 at the time )were stunned!!!
I still got my copy and i've been treasuring this track since!!

This is an early use of the word 'electro' and it applies perfectly. This remix is aces all the way....Sick drum and bass line, cold Euro vocals, plus a nice sax line (subtle, not cheesy, it adds to the appeal). Crank this and expect your feet to hurt after dancing! Do not be thrown by the Flock of Seagulls hair okay? This is minimal synth pop done to perfection. Just put the A side on repeat. Excellent.
