The appropriate shade of PURPLE does not seem to process through most digital cameras or display correctly on most monitors or display screens. Physical copies appear to present a far darker shade of PURPLE. The central "demon" between pillars has a lighter shade of frayed hair blending into the "crypt's" gates surrounding his solid printed "devil lock".

"Earth A.D." represents the Misfits' move away from the 50's Rock'n'Roll/Doo-Wop inspired sound and image that had so far defined them, into the darker territory of speed/thrash metal. A new audience and a European tour beckoned, but Robo quit the band and the Misfits' split up over the choice of a new drummer. This was the last original Misfits release recorded as a group.
