Miss Kittin returns for more electro-cool with BATBOX. She kicks off with the sheen of "Kittin Is High," her vocals steady and impassive, while the title track doesn't make sense and doesn't care to -- just dance. "Grace" has more grit than its title would have you believe, and "Solidasarockstar" slows things down to a grind. But she's just getting going with the quasi-feminist "Barefoot Tonight" or the more straightforward electro "Pollution Of The Mind" or the icy "Wash 'n' Dry" and "Metalhead." The deep throbs of "Lightmaker" lets the album end on a slightly ominous note. Open the box and let the bats out!
