Glad to own this release as I missed it first time around and what a great treat to listen to on my Orbit U-Turn.

Nice pressing BUT i checked / compared it to my original UK Mute copy. The sound of the the original has higher punch and volume for 100%! The sound of the reissue is very good but i don't know why & how the remastering "increased" the volume, the bass and the POWER of the original vinyl 2002 sound.

Really nice pressing. The music isn't totally to my taste, but nonetheless, a great package.

This is definitely the most definitive pressing of this album yet, that is unless you care about Gwen's vocals on South Side. Despite not having a gatefold, everything is perfect from the inserts, sleeves, and most importantly, pressing quality. I'm one who generally critiques vinyl record clubs as a negative thing due to all the garbage most put out, but VMP is proof that it can be done right and with the quality record enthusiasts approve of.

Amazing Color.

Another amazing sounding album from VMP. I don't know who is pressing their records but keep it up!

I own the orginal pressing and I've compared the two pressings. VMP has done a great job! The VMP pressing sounds brigher and cleaner than the OG! The sleeve & logo are a bit off compared to the OG but when the overall the sound of the record is better, who cares!! The sound is more important to me. This pressing gets an A++!

Sounds great. Too bad VMP couldn’t get the die cut sleeves and LP labels to match perfectly like in the original UK version. Come on guys! You pride yourselves with unique custom releases but then lack the attention to detail to get something so basic like this right.

I’m on Side 3/C now and so far there has been no discernible auditory differences, which leads me to believe that the “re-record” was just re-rendering the synth parts from 16-bit to 24-bit as Lucas220 suggested, giving more definition.

Apart from using the Gwen Stefani version of “South side”, this is the 1999 album we all first heard with a fantastic deluxe treatment.

Can someone play this back to back with the CD version and let us know the differences? I'm thinking he just re-recorded some of the 16-bit synth samples into 24-bit.
