I would say that the original is better than the 10th edition, both have fine sound quality as long as you disregard that this was recorded digitally. However I think the original sounds better because the mixing in my opinion is not near as "trippy" and allows a much clearer/cleaner interpratation of the vocals, guitars etc. My two cents, hope it helps.

Avoid the glacial pace repressings of the earlier records though, they are MUCH MUCH worse than the UP! releases.
