Continuing his exploration of sounds, Mr. Viande still intensively uses sampling, circuit-bending, audio-cassette and program errors as main sources of composition. He dissects sounds and objects, and becomes the revelation of accumulated and repressed memories. Like a medium, Mr. Viande releases them, and let express them, when we refused to hear and see it for so long.
Real sensory storm, “Musique pour Jeux” (“Music for Games”) tries to dig, by sound oscillations, a path deeper and deeper in our psyche.
Not just a blind accumulation of horrible sounds, “Musique pour Jeux” appears as a reflection of the decay of modern society. Seeking the limit of our conception of music and sounds (searching of any Harsh Noise musicians), Mr. Viande proposes us a powerful symphony of noise, which could be an Apocalypse soundtrack.
Like Hugo said: a noise which thinks.
