Nothing wrong with the sound quality on my album. One guy working at Clone told me they listened to the original and repress, according to him the sound quality was identical.

Imo, the sound is pretty good on this reissue. I do not have the original release but I own the original Peacefrog's pressing of Black Mahogany and I compared with it. There is no notables differences between the two pressings. Of course, it doesn't sounds like a maxi but for a LP, it's a very descent sound quality. For information, my system consists in two MK2, a Rane Empath mixer, a Luxman amplifier and two Yamaha speakers.

I'm not too fond of the sound quality of this release. Low output, and really undefined high-end. Don't have the original to compare with, though.

Good pressing! No clicks, pops or noise on my copy. Comes in black standard innersleeves. Artwork on cover sleeve looks poor, too dark, like a bad photocopy. "Mahogany Brown" on front is barely noticeable. But that's just for detail lovers..sound is great, that counts!
