Great record. The call-and-response vocals on the song "No" remind me of Dancer ‎– "The 7 Signs" from 1990.

Another £50 Moodymann record that was a little disappointing. The only recent (last 5 years) release which lived up to the quality of his early releases was Det.Riot and that was an easy one to get hold of and was in shops months after release (maybe still is), the last 5 or 6 releases I've ended up paying £50 a few days after release as they disappeared instantly. The early releases (say to about KDJ30) were always in easy supply for months after. I guess this limited release business is just a way of hiding the fact that he's not as good as he used to be.

People. Stop creating a new release because you got a bonus record. It's rediculous. I got a bonus as well. But it did not change the actual Mmodymann LP. The album is still the same. All you're doing is creating confusion.

It's seems stupid to me to list the bonus 12's as a separate editions of the "Moodymann" release. These seem to have been randomly selected and are not so important from a collector's/discography point of view. Going by the comments from the release page, there were a number of random selections -- I for example received a copy of Analog live in my set, another person claims to have received a copy of Moody's remix of Daft Punk's Get Lucky - these are not separateeditions of thde album and to say otherwise can be misleading and over-inflate the value of this set. Koval - to answer your question the unnamed tracks pertain to the bonus 12 in whic was released more than a decade ago and the tracks were unnamed. KDJ just probably has some surplus stock that he wanted to clear out!

Probably no one else will care but anybody else think this should have been released as a 2xCD? An ultrashort version of Freeki Muthafucka is weak!

CD came in today from HMV Japan. So glad it was not a digipak! The cd's the same as the MP3 version - a nice companion to the vinyl. I can't believe how fast the vinyl price inflated - what fools we mortals be!. While I have mixed feelings about the cover art -- this is a good long player on both vinyl and cd. KDJ can be proud of this addition to his catalogue.

Top notch new Moodymann LP, constantly wandering back on the turntable, many good tunes, favourite is probably "Radio", closely followed by "Come 2 Me", "Girl" also kicks ass off course. "Lyk U Used 2" is fantastic, very consistent, has just the right vibe to it, luckily not disappointing at all.

Just bought the CD version from Juno. Has about twice as many tracks - and based on the review in The Wire appears to be a continuous mix.
