In my opinion this is the best Perlon record by far.

Markus Nikolai aka Morane delivers some disco/funk and quirky elements over minimal house beats. The result is the ass shaker The trick.

Any version is awesome, but my fave is Think Away.

When i heard it for the first time, in a record shop, i though: I Want this record! It was like a new world opening right in fron of me.

I always keep searching more stuff in this style, but even Morane didn´t release anything like this.

Think dark is more techy but also very very good, I played it a million times, and never got tired. None of the versions are really minimalistic, as things happens and changes a lot every second.

The last track is more disco oriented, super freak and the vocalist show us all her skills.

Perfect!

10/10
Wake up Morane! More of this please!

My pick is Think Dark. Its got that overall 80s flava that's kind of still a la mode but instead of those morbid monotonal Gary Numan-impression type not-very-clever-and-not-particularly-interesting type vocals that plague electroclash/glitterpunk, we get some golden-age Prince soundalike. Funks it up a treat. A goodie!

Incredibly flammable deep-house/tech-house of the first order, courtesy of reverenced German's finest tech/minimal labels Perlon. The vocals courtesy of Dunja add a whole funky package to the deep 4/4, three diferent versions for your lust for life.
