Poor Neal Morse has wasted too much time covering material by other artists. He has a good voice, and clearly has a good work ethic, so why the need to cover other bands so much when he could be producing original music instead? The covers on here tend to be either milquetoast clones of the original songs, such as the covers of Rikki and Starless, or "metal" versions of the original songs, such as the covers of Come Sail Away and Crazy Horses, which are just downright cringeworthy. I suppose Morse could use the excuse that making all these covers is "fun," but then again, so too are shooting up heroin, banging prostitutes, and all sorts of other ungodly activities.
