Motion engages in some DSP ambient with EVERY ACTION, as "Untitled" opens the album on some thrumming melodics, while "Moog Edit" varies the dynamics, and "Alt X" seems to start, then rewind itself. There's hint of Tim Hecker on "Move/Still: AV Edit," though without the restlessness, and "Lazy Audio" drifts easily into the ether with some metallic tones to bring it back to earth. The occasional bass on "Reise" adds some depth to that track, and "Miles Away" has what sounds to be a melodic line. "Tones of White" returns to Hecker-esque work, and although its nice, I think the album as a whole could use perhaps a little more focus.
