I think the first effect of Move D and Namlook collaboration is not easy to qualification. This album need a "second chance", but if You will give this chance You can be surprised..im sure.

Classic deep house 4/4 rhythms and tunes which reminds of Deep Space Network's Big Rooms. With echoing piano, Namlook's EMS and synth lines on top it's all very tasty. It makes you long for more, but unfortunately house like this isnt made anymore these days. Due to the interaction of the subtle basslines and grooves the repetitveness works very well in "Drop Kick" and "Floor". They even manage to give "Drop Kick" a light jazzy feeling. The rhythmic breaks in "Drop Kick" are truly outstanding and are used in their later albums as well. In Coda it all comes together with a very nice deep extra synth melody, wonderful editing. This release grows on me each listen. Very recommended.
