Almost 10 years after the release date and still no review about this essential release by this legendary duo. Already 23 releases up to now and each with beautiful moments. However with this release they created one of the best ambient techno music I ever heard and it still sounds very fresh. Highly recommended.

"Softwired" is slightly jazz oriented ambient house cause of its smooth downtempo rhythms, guitar rifs and strong bass and synth lines.

"Hardwired" is top notch deep ambient house. Very well crafted rhythms flow from one track to another accompanied with subtle electronic clicks and cuts. With the background full of haunting synth layers the journey is complete.

"Wear your love out" continues the deep and gentle mood. Warm pads with a minimal clicks and cuts rhythm while half way Move D sings words of the track name. I had to get used to it at first, since I'm not a favourite of vocals in EM, but it works very well here.

The journey ends very intense and a little bit dark with "1969".
