How are there not more reviews here! Wow

Sea Of Holes is easily one of my favourite ambient tracks ever - it takes you into a chasm of soft mellow hypnotics. Can listen to it late at night, in the morning, when you're up, when you're down its brilliant. Sonically it has many intricate elements that you seem to hear differently each time. Worth it for the 32:06 of this track alone.

Springtime is also a great building track, and the rest of the album is great. Do yourself a favour and partake in it.

Perfect and very complete record. Essential music and one of the best Move D/Namook records up to now. Highly recommended to listen the music on an early sunny morning.

"Sea of holes" opens the album very gentle by combining slowly evolving deep pulsing ambient and a soft minimal techno rhythm. 'David and me are floating on a sea of acoustic waves' says the voice of Pete Namlook. Although i'm not a fan of vocals, they last for only 5 minutes and fits the sphere. Half way the track really takes direction to a wonderful dimension when warm and organic synth lines come in. A variation of the synth lines used in Move D/Namlook IX - Wagon-lits which fit very well.

"Springtime" is a mixture of a deep acid line, strong 4/4 techno rhythm, sweet synth lines and high filtered guitar riffs. Strong elements are taken from Move D/Namlook VI - Live in Heidelberg's Footer and Move D/Namlook VIII - The art of love's One after 303 add depth in order to the track dynamic. It all creates a very light magical environment and nostaligic feelings. In particular the last 4 minutes are a highlight due to the appearance of an old sounding piano phrase.

"Escape from Berlin" After the phenomenal previous track it is hard to find a good followup, but they found a very good solution. A loud sequencer, strong rhythm and subtle synth tones form the perfect bridge between track 2 and 4.

"Der strahlende verlierer" Very well mixed into te previous track due to the wonderful bassline, warm synth line and the house oriented rhythm. The buildup is truly amazing due to switches, brilliant filtered synth wave, breaks and snare drum which strengthens the rhythm. The background is throughout the track very rich. The music transports a lot of happiness. Towards the end of the track the interaction of the synth pads, bass melody and high filtered guitar riffs (similar to track 2) create a high level of nostalgy. Very intense moments.

"Heidelberg, Texas" Soft warm ambient which consists of the high filtered guitar riffs similar to track 2 and 4, but now on the foreground accompanied with light warm pads and chords. It builds further on the end of track 4 and could have easily mixed into it which would have been better in order to stay into the flow. The flow is easy to catch again and it is recommended to listen this while watching the rising sun, since the music really feels like a warm surrounding glow. Wonderful ending.
