I had to buy the original pressing to get the sound it deserves. All other pressings don't come close to the original, not mentioning the missing tracks.

Well, "Nothing" is not a track. "Nothing" is meant to represent that Theo Lengyel and Danny Heifetz didn't write any music on the album, hence it's their only credit.
Anyway, amazing pressing.

Hi. I can't seem to find the double groove of the "Nothing" track. Does it play same time as "Merry go bye bye" , like suggested by the B5a/B5b listing of the tracks in the pressing registry above, or is it actually somewhere else on the disc?

Best analog version of this record. Way louder than any vinyl or cd pressings. Sounds full and amazing compared to records or cds. If you are like me and always hated how low the volume on this was this is the version for you.

Once again the wretched Music On Vinyl label completely screws the pooch on a landmark album.

As usual, this includes the "unholy trinity" of most MOV pressings: digitally-sourced sound (the album was recorded in analog), dull scanned artwork, and a cheap inner poly sleeve that is well-split down the sides by the time it arrives to the buyer's hands.

AND YET...MOV screws up even further by OMITTING tracks and not even bothering to include the 7" single that even the equally-horrid Plain Recordings pressing managed to include, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that MOV is little more than a vanity bootleg label out of Europe that is looking to cash in on the vinyl trend by the cheapest means possible.

This is a cheap, poor pressing of a great album that you can find in its COMPLETE form for a little bit more or even the SAME price as an original complete pressing if one is so apt to look. MOV is an absolute disgrace and should be banished entirely from producing vinyl.

Agree with everyone else. Very bad pressing. Have to turn volume right up in order to hear it. Background humming noise.

I also agree with Eggplantimus' comment, this is an album you need to sit down and listen to the whole way through. All the complaints about it being thin or low volume need to realize it was engineered this way. Trust me it gets very loud in parts. I've played this album about 10 times and I've only ever been able to play the whole way though twice without the amp tripping out! Gets so punchy, so quickly that my amp goes into safe mode! But that somehow adds to it. When I know some of the really intense parts are coming up it really gets me on edge. I also have the original pressing with promo 7" with platypus on it and I can definitely say it sounds on better then the original, bonus for being a really clean pressing which is needed for this album considering the volume required to get it sounding good, but would recommend a good wipe down before playing. Love this album, most played LPs in my house.
