Spring Age is such a wonderful, beautiful, hypnotic dubby track..I think it's one of Mr Cloudys finest moments! Brilliant album

I was shocked to discover this release didn't have a review on Discogs, nor did I hear much buzz about it in the forums. Call it a sleeper hit, but "Shades of the Deep" is a Mr. Cloudy release not to be missed! With only 100 copies on CD, fortunately you have a download option. Dark, spacious, and the perfect marriage between dub and ambient, this album of lengthy tracks is one of Sergey Barkalov's finest hours. The term "flow" comes to mind. I think all of the cloudy releases of 2012 have had a, dare I say extra cloudy vibe. A droning repetitive nature but without noticing it is repetitive, if that makes sense. I noticed this most with "Depth Studies," although "Shades of the Deep" offers more variety. Samples/downloads are on Entropy's site, check it out!
