For me, "We Can Work It Out" is the standout on this release. That simple, yet effective keyboard riff... the hopeful lyrics.... the beautiful female vocal that continuously loops, proclaiming "Oh we can work it out.... I know that we can and I know that we will." In times like these, I reach for Larry Heard.

Easily one of my favorite tracks of all-time.

The amount effort, thought and creativity put into this choice release by Mr. Heard is really quite amazing.
As with most Larry Heard albums, buy on sight.

Larry Heard Aka Mr.Fingers is a gifted artist does not get the acknowledgement, being one of music's best funk/soul artist of our time it's a travesty that such "great" music goes unnoticed, but my Ex-Wife introduced me to your music and been a fan since,so for what that was worth Larry Heard aka Mr.Fingers is a musical Genius.I still have my cassette of Introduction and I give it two thumbs up.

Every track on this album is as great as each other but for me there are two standout tracks "empty" and "survivor" Realy perfect tracks to listen to when life is some how getting the better of you ,especially when you break up with the girl you love ! Sweet, sweet vocals and music to die for as im sure we have all had some experience of a lost love.these tracks express how you might feel in the music .EXCEPTIONAL TRACKS ALWAYS AND FOREVER ! Conor

Larry Heard demonstrated true talent when he begin mixing jazz inflected melodies, thought provoking lyrics and almost sedate, sublime vocal stylings from Robert Owens. Not so dance but containing just enough jazz flavor that Light Jazz stations begin to play songs from the album. Signiture cuts include Corner Called Jazz, Survivor, and On My Way.
