P Bar Jam is a f*****g tune! First heard on shit robot mix it helped me finish a marathon with a mangled knee. that good

A lot of things could be said about a lot of things, but then why bother? P Bar Jam is the type of a tune that you'd hear on a Sunday morning, taken into consideration that you've been out since Friday night, and it'd instigate you to perform one more ritualistic dance even if it should suck the life out of you. Irresistible groove, a hook line that'd get Stephen Hawking head nodding, and more flavor than you could shake a stick at. Typical tightness courtesy of Mr. G. This one packs more Heat then Alonzo Mourning. The rest of the record is blazing as well, but the A side is a musical defibrillator that works wonders just when you consider leaving the club and heading home for a nap. Then this baby drops. Oh, no. You just have to stay now.

Colin McBean brings home the bacon, no questions asked. He is not my favorite producer, not even in my top ten, but this guy continually boils up the atmosphere with a raw sound that flirts with techno, house and tech-house, yet it never falls into rigid genre traps. A great artist who drops tunes that make dance podiums sweat. End of story. You can count a lot of things out, you can cross a lot of names off your list, but do not ever leave out Mr. G.

This record is pure fire. All around finely crafted three tracker, with proper grooves, however the A side is a chunky funky munchy groover that brings the dead to life. Essential after hours scorcher, and one of his more inspired moments, and that is saying something.

Great EP. Especially loving "Tripped Out," though the A-side is typical Mr. G hotness too.
