Movies by Jacques Tati are all very visual and the usage of dialogue and music is very minimal. That's why this is not a remixed soundtrack. It's more like the opposite: Mr. Untel uses snippets of melody and dialogue of Tati movies to create his own soundtrack. And that's the problem of this release! When you leave out those samples, all what's left is a collection of mediocre beats and boring rhythms.
I really enjoy watching Tati movies over and over again. This record only reminds me to put out the garbage can once a week. Avoid.
