Wicked early happy hardcore tune! Side A is a remix of the original 1993 tune released on Impact Records (IMP 017). Side B is a proper uplifting early 4-beat/happy hardcore tune! The latter being the icing on the cake for me!

Released around mid '94 when the scene here in Britain was splitting into jungle/drum 'n' bass and 4-beat/happy hardcore! <3 <3

Think hardcore's all noise and no emotion? Then you need to hear this record. The remix of True Love is one of the greatest tracks to come out of this genre - frantic beats offset with meloncholic but beautiful pads, a tinkling piano line and twisted mentasm stabs. Undoubtedly Hectic's finest moment, and why Mystic & Fire didn't have a much greater output I'd love to know. This one would feature in my top 5 hardcore tracks of all time...
