Horn Fusion [Concept 1 and 2] – Pretty much the same tunes with slightly varied breaks.

Ron and Phil Wells from Basement Records, under one of their many guises, really got it together on this track. A haunting, jazzy roller with a rare-groove element. Aside from being a great standalone track, it provides the perfect crossover piece during a set to go from mellow to dark or vice-versa. Eerie brass stabs underpinned by sweeping chords massage the relentless beats into submission at the ‘drop-out’, with the aid of some precisely executed drum rolls. The deep sub bass rumbles away like a beast at the back of it’s lair. A hot, dusky summers evening tune.
