These tapes are a must-have for fans of N.Strahl.N, and of industrial and dark ambient music, as well. All three "Transmitter" releases are represented, and remastered for cassette. The "Transmitter" pieces are, in a sense, audio arguments for not being persuaded by various media, such as newspapers, television or radio. All three are also sublime pieces of music, exploring tonality and texture in expert ways. The first time I heard "Mindscreen", I was blown away-- It seemes a perfect industrial remark about the transitory nature of visual media. Then I heard "Athernarkose", which is, in my opinion, the apex of the trilogy. The constant shifting developments of the piece kept me fascinated-- I loved hearing the medium of radio mimicked, sampled an perverted. So fans of good dark music, don't miss out on a chance to collect some great music.

And the remixes aren't half bad either, representing different approaches to the original sounds, on Side D.
