Now this one here is an authentic & absolute B-Boy classic; HUGE in the Bronx, HUGE in NY & HUGE worldwide, not to mention one of the best on AB's 'Streetwise' label. Had this been a smaller press on an indie label, this would be going for mega bucks, lucky for the collector it's still around at a fair price. I challenge you to find a more addictive, funky baseline... Every version has something to offer, with my fave being the breakers choice; 8:15 vocoder version on side B. Incredible production from Baker & Robie, sounds fresh as hell still today. You don't need to be an electro purist to dig this- it's an awesome slice of dance- floor soul for all. Amazing record, amazing times...

cool version of Manu Dibango/Babatunde Olatunji's Soul Makossa, original afro-beat from 1959!
