Side A (Mx. B-10665-2) and Side B (Mx. B-10660-3) were recorded June 30, 1911, Camden, New Jersey.

Originally released in November, 1911 on Victor "Patents" label. This issue, on Victor "Batwing" label with "Victor" shown on the side of the phonograph, price restriction to left of spindle hole and undated Mesican registration dates to early 1914 - mid-1916.

Note - this record remained in the Victor catalog for many years. Issues released before 1920 contain songs recorded on the June, 1911 date. Both tracks were re-recorded acoustically by the Neapolitan Trio and new recordings kept original matrix numbers ("The Herd Girl's Dream" on 10/24/1919 and "Happy Days", recorded by Francis J. Lapitino with different accompanists, on 1/17/1923). These new tracks were also released on Victor 16967. The 1919 version of "Herd Girl" is distinguishable by the presence of William H. Reitz on bells. Both tracks were again re-recorded by Francis J. Lapitino with different accompanists, in July, 1925 (this time electrically) and released on Victor 19872 in February, 1926.
