Is this official release better sounding than the bootlegs? Those are just a lofi copy of the actual movie sound.

Is this (and all the Euro bootlegs) a soundtrack that allegedly includes mostly william blake's poetry in the voice of Johnny Depp and not so much the exact music you hear in the movie? Thanks!

Yes, I don't like the movie, but love the soundtrack.

This album is amazing in the context of the movie which deserves way more credit. People aren't after this lp just because they have a boner for Neil young even though that's a good enough reason, when you experience it in context with this underrated smartly executed but commercially unsuccessful movie you can see it for the masterpiece it is. Haunting guitar riffs, with full impactful silences. Minimalist and beautiful. An excellent thought provoking story and Neil young is your spirit guide.

Beware of a bootleg of this coming out of Europe. Has no matrix numbers on the deadwax and plain white inner sleeves. Missing pictures too.
