It's a great record. Ordered it when it came out, didn't know it was a boot, still really good. Grab it if you see it.

Peter Hook is the biggest douche

My band opened for him back in 2011 and while he was doing his "DJ set" my friend started dancing behind him holding a copy of Joy Division's "Unknown Pleasures" before security whisked him off. Worth it

I have a copy of this if anyone wants it. Just message with an offer : )

The first time Elegia appeared on vinyl was in 1985 on the Low-life LP and it was a shortened/edited version that was 4:55 mins long. To the best of my knowledge, the only time time the full 17:30 mins version was released was on the CD, New Order - Retro (Limited Edition Bonus Disc), which was a promo CDr/CD. This CD had a US release and I'd imagine that's where Francis and Paul, the Dope Jams boys sourced the full version to make a vinyl pressing. I'm just really glad they did =)

Love having this great track in it's unedited version on vinyl. Sound quality is excellent. There are sounds you can hear on vinyl that were inaudible on CD or digital download. A true gem to have in your collection if you can get one.
