I like the music, but recording onto a cassette is something they did back in the day because cassette machines were all those producers could afford at the time. If Larry or Marshall had access to better equipment, they would have used it.

Wonderful album from start to finish, the Larry Heard Remix is a real highlight. Simoncino's output has been a definite highlight in the past year or so. Don't sleep on this!

The pressing is rather shabby though - I understand that it's got to do with analog 'sound' but some of his other releases on Echovolt or Skylax definitely sound better. Maybe that's just me though.
