Haven't purchased a Nick Warren mix in ages, in fact not since Live in Prague about 14 years ago. I also admit to being fairly disappointed with a lot of the renaissance cd's I've heard over the years. The first two being so legendary that those which followed just could not fill the vacuum. guess you had to be there. So I'm not sure why I bought this but totally satisfied I did.
Nick has selected some fine tunes for this mix, I don't think there's a dud amongst his set. From house to lounge to tech and trance this is a sweet journey. Excellent audio quality and stereo separation, there's a whole lot of air in these tracks and it sounds great. A wonderful listen through quality headphones or nice speakers, I pity those that'll only experience this in a compressed format.
Worth the purchase on CD.
It may not have you raving on the coffee table but what a great first and second gear for a Saturday night.
I'm liking this.

Another disappointing, lacklustre mix in my opinion. I bought both this one and Hernan Cataneo's on the strength of Dave Seaman's sparkling little gem. If the next one is as dull, no more Renaissance for me.
