This is Nightwing when they were a progressive rock band. The music on this album is very interesting and the songs are well-played, but I feel that the wrong guys were chosen to do the vocal parts. Once you've heard Alec Johnson sing on the Black Summer album, you wonder why you don't hear him on this record. This guy is so much better than the other singers in the band. Keyboard player Kenny hasn't got a rock voice and Gordon, who's the bass player and who dominates the album, has got one of the scariest voices ever. Apparently they never liked Alec's vocals anyway because after the Black Summer album they got singer Max Bacon in the band ?! For me the Black Summer album rules !
