Possibly not the best pressing of this album (I haven't heard others) but it is a definite upgrade over the CD version, which itself was pretty good. The record delivers more low end. Worth a buy.

My copy does have some pops and crackels also on side A... I can only guess the materials were cheap or something.. I have way older records that are more silent that this one... also volume is way down on this one.. anyway, good songs, a classic live album...

I just picked this up and am disappointed at the amount of pops and crackles on side 2. This is after cleaning. I heard some of the left channel whoosh on side 1. I guess the pressed at Pallas in Germany hype is not to be believed. I have loved the album ever since it came out, but am disappointed with the pressing.

Found this at Best Buy for $24! Sounds excellent. Get it while you can.

Sounds amazing, but non-fill/whooshing on side A on a few of the tracks. Can only hear it on the quiet parts though.

A few tracks really stand out on this pressing. Very good overall. Also, notice the side-a wooshing, must be something with the lathe or tape machine since the actual vinyl is pressed dead center.

I can hear the left channel issue as well. Its noticeable but not super distracting. The sound is far superior to my 2008 pressing though. The cover colour reproduction is bootleg quality however.

I didn't really want to spend the $60+ on the original so I finally broke down and bought this copy and I'm very happy with it. I think I could hear what people were referring to as the whooshing sound in the left channel on side A, but only when I was intently listening for it and next to that speaker. If it wasn't mentioned, I probably wouldn't have noticed it. Otherwise the sound is great with no pops or skips.

Same issue here with the (slightly, altough noticeable on more quiet parts) woosh on the left channel on Side A. But it still sounds absolutely wonderful.

Unfortunately side A of my copy has a few non-fill spots and a whooshing sound in the left channel. Side B is significantly better, dead quiet and very pleasant to listen to. Wouldn't have expected such issues from Pallas. Anybody else with problems on side A?
I also complain a bit that Kurt's head got chopped off in that one picture upper right on the sheet. I think the ORG release had the full picture.
