Notes

2013 re-issue and remaster of the Final Fantasy IV soundtrack from the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom game. The track names are printed in English on the back cover next to the original Japanese; these titles are not a fan translation.

As for the track listing on the back cover it does not make a number break between the two discs. Disc number two starts with track 25, not 2-01 like you'd expect. The formatting above was done to reflect how the tracks are numbered on the actual release.

Unlike the previous pressing of the Final Fantasy IV soundtrack, the songs on this version double loop before they fade out and all the missing jingles are have been added. Also note that the game's Epilogue track has been split into three tracks on this release, it was originally a single track on previous pressings.

It is important to note that there was an error in the earliest pressings of the album; the beginning of track 2-12 "Dancing Calcobrena" was unintentionally cut off. Square Enix ran a disc replacement offer to replace the disc which was extended to non-Japanese purchasers through the sites where buyers bought their albums. New and sealed copies of the album you're likely to buy now are corrected, but this might be an issue if you buy the album used and the seller didn't obtain the replacement disc. This entry was created with corrected copy thus the "mispress" label was not used in the format section.
