This Noisex release acts almost like a greatest hits album, coercing all their forms and styles into one lengthy, 2-disc album. "Ignarrogance" feeds upon the act of repetition, sending the listener into a trance-like state with its repeated vocals (usually the name of the track), and droning, mechanical music. The noise influence is very present here, and veils much of the synth work in a thick fuzz on many of the songs. The reason this can substitute as a collective works release is both because of the obvious length of the release, and because the tracks don't stick to one form - instead they represent the breakbeat, hardcore/EBM (my favourite), and mutilated-beat facades of Noisex. One theme does remain common though throughout the 144 minutes, and that is the theme of repetition. This would otherwise be called a boring release if it were a quarter of the length, but since there is such a volume of tracks to choose from, "Ignarrogance" can stay fresh and innovative over a period of many listens.
