A great exploration of funky electronica, almost house, but somehow...just not quite.
Underground 90's Brit electronica moody boy, Beaumont Hannant created some of Englands electronic musical soundtracks on 1000's of bits of vinyl and CD.Some releases were so vast in scope, they came out as 2 DOUBLE albums.
A one time signing of GPR (Black Dogs first doghouse) in london and resident of York ( capital of Yorkshire). Beau has wowed many with his DJ skills and entertained us with lush and sometimes melencolic synth arrangements married together with 'Captured sound' via sampling and manipulating 'found' noises. As a proud son of the B Boy movement of the 80's and a pretty sharp scrath mixer in his day, funky beats are never far away from the lulling tones of his arrangements. If the birth of Tech-House is of intrest to you, Notturno and the rest of the Melt Records catalogue would be of intrest to you, check em out. Deep housey grooves and techno synths, niiice !
