Disappointing electronic (or should I say 'pseudo'-electronic?) work from flautist/multi-instrumentalist Ralf Nowy, better known for the many sides of errant psychedelia, obtuse jazz fusions, and a whole host of other styles cut in the 70s on such albums as "Lucifer's Dream" & "Escalation". Here, the strangeness that characterized those earlier albums is lost in a classically-infused work brimming with symphonic swells of strings tempered by the odd sequencer line or gently pulsing synths, further augmented by the kinds of drum programming favored by TD of the time. But it's all far more 'classical' than anything remotely resembling Berlin School or the like; if that's your bag, by all means scout it out. Otherwise, a mere curio for the rest of us that's neither particularly interesting nor hardly essential.
