"Underwater Fireworks" is a seriously underated piece of jungle, hardcore, darkcore brilliance!!!
The track starts off with a a haunting and at the same time ethereal synth line that includes the philosophical vocal sample 'The knowledge of self can be spread through out the collective'... Then the superb production skills make the firing beats on this track build layer upon layer. I love tracks that take you upon a journey and this doesn't fail to deliver... The climatic peak of this track begins with the vocal sample 'We thought we'd died and gone to heaven' and then "D.j. Nut-E-1" makes great use of a eerie synth line that was sampled from the track "Oxygene (Part 1)" by "Jean Michel Jarre"...The effects that Nut-E-1 puts on this sample sounds like it is washing all over you and pulling you further into the track. From then on in it builds again with cleverly constructed beat patterns that 'crack like fire' to produce an successful audio event.
All in this is one of my favorite 'stand out' tracks of all time.
