Lurching from industrial clanking to blissed out sub Aphex Twin ambient ditties, O.S.T. (Chris Douglas) serves up an odd album with a kind of compilation feel. Some tracks fade quickly, seem partly formed, but with O.S.T. this is always part of the 'keeping off-balance' that his music employs in so many ways. His work is never very 'layered' and this is no exception. A few ideas collide on a track by track basis to form an 'assortment' of sonic oddities. Not much sounds like this, which is what keeps me coming back to his work.
