Two tracks of superficially minimal, grainy techno inhabit this limited edition package. But there is a lot of richness and warmth lurking beneath the austerity. Objekt's subtly gated funk reverberates like suspension cables on a stormy night, and sucks the listener into a strange world of railway tunnels, factory floors and disembodied voices, while Cosmin's more straight-up 4/4 track echoes with the ghosts of Surgeon, Mills, Advent and Plastikman in their late 90s guises. Also, I accidentally put the Objekt track on at 33 and it is stunning as a fuzzy dubbed out 100bpm trip. Well worth checking, although the value of the limited edition prints is perhaps questionable, but even the standard edition will probably sell out fast, such is the reputation of this label and the artists. Thankfully also available in digital formats for those lacking either the money or the inclination to collect the vinyl.
