This is so much more than just a bunch of songs by a certain artist. This is actually something as unique as a psytrance-album made to be listened to as a whole. This phenomenon is very, very rare among "darkpsy"-artists, a genre where Ocelot usually is placed. I say "usually" since Ocelot is one of the most diverse - and interesting - producers of psychedelic electronic music ever. And this album is a perfect example of that.

The sound you find here is very special, not really comparable to any other artists I know. You get proggy bpm's and lots and lots of cosmic, hypnotic melodies with plenty of goa-hints, so the music would fit perfectly on a sunny dancefloor. But the amount of psychedelic fx and the structures of the tracks makes the sound as much related to the darkpsy/hypertrance as to morning music.

It's not the most dj-friendly album out there, since the tracks are mixed (not faded, but actually mixed) to each other. Instead it's the perfect hometripping-album, taking you on a flawless ride through colourful and deep psychedelic soundscapes.

This is definately the best full length effort from Ocelot so far, an album that somehow succeeds to balance in between the easy digestible and the more challenging stuf. Recommended to all open-minded dance-music lovers out there.
