The two strongest tracks off Omnivore's FEEDING FRENZY album get the remix treatment here on SPANDEX, including a 9-minute long take on the title track. As One delivers some solid techno for his take, and Aqua Bassino offers, not surprisingly, some smooth deep house. Funky Wogan's mix is off-kilter house, twisting the original vocal sample even further, and Pentatonik goes for electro-funk. And, in a 'where did that come from?' mix, the "Circa 76 Mix" is all guitar-rock, all the time. On the "Querelle" side of the mixes, The Beloved turn towards straightforward house, while 12 From a Dozen go extra-blippy. Emulsion, meanwhile, delves into the deep side. A nice collection.
