This masterpiece stands head and shoulders above anything Mr. Roback did with Mazzy Star - and Hope Sandoval is no Kendra Smith.

I really like this album a lot. It's mellow, darkish and relaxing all in one great album. It's not meant to be commercial or listened to by the masses but the few lucky that have it and have heard it know it remains in a closet in your mind forever and for whatever reason. Something about it touches me and in a good way. They went on to form Mazzy Star and this album was proof of good things to come. A gem in the rough.

I own a copy of this one, same numbers, same pressing, but on marbled grey vinyl. I have never seen another one.
