has the makings of an orbital track from green album era. 10/10

How in gods name has this never been repressed? An absolute gem of a track that drifts along and builds to near crescendo after near crescendo only to slip back down deep again. Dreamy and sublime with flutes, floaty key pads and the 'Close Your Eyes' murmur. As said below this is a great opener or closer. For me it is all about the original mix but don't get me wrong Stacey Pullen and Frank De Wulf offer no slouch remixes....I imagine this played at daybreak the excess of the night before drifting away....

A blank red record with one 17 minute serious piece of trippy warm ambient tribal techno trance. Simple straight forward loopy and devestatingly effective and beautiful with more than a few big samples thrown in for diggers to figure out. Steve Hillage makes an appearance with Rainbow Dome Music providing some of the tingly atmospherics that set things up. Powerful dj tool, or an impeccable way to start of finish things.
Stacey Pullen turns in a tumbler of a mix that puts a proper Detroit spin on the affair. Where the original mix floats. This mix plunges. The Frank de Wulf mix rounds out the package and manages to comb the hair some and get the red out of the eyes of the first mix and make it a more early evening club friendly affair if that is what you require.

I own this great 12 inch, white labeled pressing. Lex Blackmore, part of Orson Karte, is also a great rapper/mc, altough there aren't many examples of is skills, appearing on some tracks by scottish electronic band "The Shamen". He is also responsible for the moniker "The Blue Boy" with the well known release of "Remember Me".

There is a rare version of Shamen's LSI on Youtube, with rapping by Lex and vocals by Plavka (Jam & Spoon).
