This album is a gem! Almost a masterpiece. Outersect sometimes balances on the border of the funky and cheesy, but always keeps enough of thick bass and beats to keep it very nice to listen. Sounds like someone who loves Indian chants, but does not hesitate to synthesize the hell out of them. The first track sounds a little commercially, but doesn't scare people away. Of course there are many lovely melodies, changes of dynamics, and rhythms and instruments well balanced between East and West. The last track seals it up nicely, seemingly slowly, but there is some incredible work with synth knobs.
The only thing to regret is sometimes using the chants already used by Entheogenic & co., but who can blame him when he did it so skillfully.
Verdict: 4/5
