Living proof of how having big names work together does not always have a fruitful record as a result. Basically, apart from the incredibly hypnotic A1 track, which just makes your entire body spiral to another dimension, the rest of this four tracker goes nowhere. The other three tracks are simple, stripped down and obvious DJ tools, which just don't work if listened to anywhere for more than two and a half minutes. When I say stripped or minimal, unfortunately I do not imply it sounds like other stuff off Blueprint, Downwards or even Counterbalance. This is just plain flat, uninspiring techno unworthy of two producers who released top notch music during their careers. The annoying techno track of the year award goes to B2. I mean, if Anthony Child had anything at all to do with this, I am going to flush "Force + Form" down the toilet. The track actually clickety clicks clacks for almost five minutes and sounds like a 40 second segment recorded on Magix Music Maker on repeat! Sorry to say it, but this gets two fat thumbs down, which is a shame, since the 12" starts on a strong note, with the absolutlely hard yet mesmerizing killer tune. Too bad the rest is filler, DJ utensils which won't serve any other purpose except that of being transition tools between better cuts... Oh well, you cannot always have it all, can you?
