Well this tune always sound more 'Eastern' as in Egypt to me. Big tune and the flip is just as good!

Disagree with Jaims below,'The Western' it certainly isn't all about the bassline,it's about the intro, the strings (those strings man),the break and then the bassline, this is just a classic builder masterfully put together by a genius. But then again would you expect anything less from PFM.On the flip, although not really doing it for me as much as 'The Western','Hypntosing' is a quality amen roller that just emphasizes how good PFM was at putting quality D&B together.

The Western is all about the bassline. The soft, but resonating, notes create such a smooth pulse to the ambient washes that PFM laces throughout the tracks. This track also appears on the Logical Progression Vol. 1 compilation with vocals by MC Conrad on top, but the pure original instrumental version is sufficient to keep a crowd pulsating to the atmospheric chords.
