This EP is very dear to me, if not but for only the cuts 'Say Seven Up' and 'Deep Six'. There is something very strange about them, they eerily transport you to where he's intending to go, which by all sound seems to be somewhere deep and tragic in the 1970s. It has immense feeling to it and they are wonderful. They employ library sampling, violins, horns and sound much like slow-jam early 1970s cuts from a soul band, with his own flavor imparted onto it. Every time I listen it takes me to ghetto 1970s NYC, I can't say why. Awesome EP, buy on sight.
