The Bridge - holy shit. Moroder-style filtered arps, minor-chord pads that create a really mysterious, almost spooky atmosphere without losing the groove, a really really unique tune..

..until around the 6 minute mark when the bassline switches up and ruins the whole mood, turning the track into some Ridge Racer tech house. Despite this, first 6 minutes are an absolute joy, and incredible work once again from the Paperboys!

Almost 10 years since manchester's comment about 'Downtime' having stood the test of time and it continues to do so. It has aged really well

Seminal release for me and that really made me sit up and take mote of the new wave in British house music, of which Paper recordings were at the forefront. Miles Hollway & Elliot Eastwick produced an incredibly funky & beautiful deep house record with 'Downtime' and it has completely stood the test of time. It's never far away from my box.
