When I first heard this album I was amazed. It was something new, different, original, funky and unique in its own way. It was a great difference from the usual electronic music I listen to and very much enjoyable. Full of texture, funky sounds, bell type sounds(which I have a thing for) and awesome vocals. With that said I would have to give this album a 4 out of 10, "why" you may ask. Well the whole time I was listening to it there was a ton of digital clipping, and in general everything was overly loud causing the music to lack dynamics. After listening to 3 tracks I ended up with a headache from the constant loudness and clipping. What ever happened to the volume knob and having the highest peaks stop at -0.3db ? Being a producer who masters his own works it kinda killed the magic of the music for me. If you don't mind that sort of thing I highly recommend buying a copy of the album and having a listen.
