I dont have many records in my collection with 2 tracks on them that are so completely different in style. However, this Soul Grabber record is one such release.

On the A side, "Motocross Madness" is a dark, driving track in which the energy level never drops after it has been built up over the first minute or so. The fact that this track features on one of Soulwax's renowned 2 Many DJs mixes is testament to its pedigree. This is the standout track by far.

On the B side, "Soulero" is an explosive warm house track which is very upbeat and colourful. Lots of instrumenatation and lively percussion. This track is perhaps bordering on the cheesey, over-produced end of house music. However, it still works for me.

On the whole, this record is very good. The a and b sides are almost polar opposites, but both are energetic and worthy of a listen. If for no other reason, buy this for the power and energy of the A-side which is without a doubt the better of the 2 tracks.
