I had the orange label version and the low end sounded way better too me. I gave it to a friend years back when I needed to downsize, who later sold it, that was so silly. I bought this version when it came out and was shocked at how lackluster it sounded. With a song called "Feel My M.F. Bass" on it, you would think they would have gotten that part right. Whoever pressed this must have left to make a Bootycall, because it sounds like ass.

Does the OG sound a lot better then? Anyone got a copy of each to compare? I agree that this sounds rough as hell, but still the only way most people will get to own a copy.

The range of dynamics sounds pretty limited on this reissue

Whoever released this abomination should reconsider their involvement with music in any way!

OK it has the track... but my question is, how did this even got into the market, they should had stopped it before sales, people are getting scammed, sorry for my harsh words but Dance Mania is a reference for many amazing releases, never minding their less good quality releases due to pressing, mastering or artist sound quality... the records where playable and still are they always stand out in a mix, "this 2014-release just sounds high, harsh, it MF hurts in the ears"..."the price - double shame!"

already 23 for sail, it must mean something. buy it at your own risk!

Whoever did the remastering for this rerelease deserves to be punished.
Ok, it's Dance Mania, none of them were sounding hifi. But this 2014-release just sounds high, harsh, it MF hurts in the ears.
Shame! (Not to mention the price - double shame!)
