Unsure where to lay their hats, these two members of CONTROLLED BLEEDING create a semi-Classical, semi-Gothic, semi-Rock Opera collection emphasised by martial percussion. Dramatic and way, way beyond the limits most creators in this scene have set for themselves, it makes the hen-scratching attempts at Classical-styled music by the likes of LAIBACH, TEST DEPT and ATARAXIA pale into the shadows. The vocals are very, VERY male, deep and rich, almost touching sonorous areas previously visited by the likes of MICHAEL GIRA. Some of the harmonics and mood moments remind me of more recent JACKIE LEVEN, while a lot go way deep into Industrial noise territory.
An intense, remarkable journey through an Industrial view of other established genres. It casts it's net wide, hoping to catch the attention of not only you and me, my reader, but of Mr. 2.5 Normality. Yet, as willingly as this guy would eagerly embrace some of the more formed tracks on this collection, there are moments when he'd be left confused, bewildered and scared stiff.
